FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What class should I join?

Our classes are designed for 3 year olds through adults.

Tiger Cubs: 3-5 olds, all tiger cub levels

Juniors: 6-11 year olds, all belt ranks

Youth/Teen: 12-15 year olds, all belt ranks

Adult: 16+, all belt ranks

How many classes should I attend?

Our flexible schedule allows you to attend classes 6 days a week.

While we encourage regular training to build and maintain your skills, we also want to prevent injury and burnout.

Tiger Cubs should attend no more than 2 classes each week.

New students should try to attend 2-3 classes each week (a combination of virtual and onsite) to build foundational skills.

Black belts should attend 3 classes a week.

How do I attend classes?

All classes are onsite.

To join us on the mat in the studio, you must pre-register for class using the Book Online feature on our site. This allows us to maintain proper social distancing and health safety guidelines. Classes are limited to 24 students. If you need to cancel a class you have signed up for, we kindly ask that you provide at least 5 hours notice so we can let students know there is an open slot.

You can also book classes via the WIX app. Download and use Invite Code: KBJMNK

What safety precautions are you taking as a result of COVID-19?

The health and safety of our students and instructor team has always been of utmost importance. As a result of COVID-19, we have enhanced our already stringent policies to include the following:

  • Students must remove shoes outside the school and step on a sticky mat to prevent the spread of germs.

  • Students and parents must sanitize their hands upon entry to the studio. Students also will sanitize their hands upon exit from the mat.

  • Masks must be worn at all times in the studio lobby. Students may remove their masks when they reach their designated training spot.

  • Training spots are marked on the mat floor and are spaced 8 feet apart. Class size is limited to allow for proper distancing.

  • Students will use their own equipment (clapper targets, rebreakable boards) where possible and all shared equipment will be sanitized after each use.

  • Contact sparring is not practiced at this time. Students will perform tactical sparring drills to improve skills and perform hero sparring on our heavy bags, which are disinfected between use.

  • After each class, the training floor is cleaned and all door handles and contact areas are disinfected before the next class can enter the studio.

  • Testing and other events have been broken into smaller groups to reduce the number of people present in the studio at any one time.

  • And as always, we ask parents and studios to not attend class if they are feeling ill in any way or experiencing any symptoms.
